Rosacea & Redness-Prone Skin

What is rosacea?

Rosacea is a long-term inflammatory skin condition that most commonly affects the cheeks, nose, chin and forehead.

Symptoms may include:

  • Persistent redness
  • Flushing
  • Visible thread veins
  • Small red bumps
  • Burning or stinging sensations
  • Dryness and sensitivity

Rosacea varies greatly between individuals and often fluctuates between flare-ups and periods of stability.

Treatments for rosacea

Although there is currently no cure for rosacea, symptoms can often be managed very successfully.

Recommended treatments include:

  • LED Light Therapy – to calm inflammation and support healing.
  • HydraFacial® – suitable once the skin barrier has been restored and inflammation is well controlled.
  • Medical-grade skincare – to strengthen the skin barrier and reduce sensitivity.
  • Prescription treatments may also be recommended by your GP or prescriber where appropriate.
